BREAST FEEDING OVER BOTTLE FEEDING
- No need to spend if it is breast milk as opposed to bottle milk which is usually expensive
- Breast milk contains antibodies (which help the baby to fight against infection) whereas bottle milk contains no antibodies
- Breast milk is readily available whereas bottle milk is not usually so
- Breast milk is usually maintained at a correct temperature whereas the temperature of bottle milk needs to be adjusted accordingly before allowing the baby to suckle
- Babies having breast milk are not prone to lactose intolerance whereas babies having bottle milk are usually subjected to lactose intolerance
- Breast milk contains nutrients in a right proportion whereas bottle milk is not necessarily so
